politics, and education. Stories are
how people make sense of themselves and their worlds.”

The Shamrock Leaf
The Newsmagazine of the New Brunswick Irish Association (ICCANB)
The Shamrock Leaf is published twice a year (June and December) by the Irish Canadian Cultural Association of New Brunswick and is currently mailed out to all members. Members also have online access to all issues of the magazine from 1983 to the present.
Upon first joining as a member or renewing an existing membership, there is an option to choose online access only should you not wish to receive a hard copy.
Each of our newsmagazines contains interesting articles of Irish-related history, culture and genealogy, reports on ICCANB activities around the province, news items from Ireland and so much more.
Contributors to the magazine include local historians, Irish descendants telling their family or travel stories, poets, and storytellers. You could be one of our contributors. If you have an original Irish-related item to share or would like to submit an idea for a story that a volunteer could help develop, please contact the editor of the Shamrock Leaf. We would welcome your input or submission.
