The Government has chartered the steamer Regulator to take a company of regulars from here to some point, probably Eastport. She will probably leave on arrival of noon train, which is expected to bring Gen. Meade.

The following private telegram appeared on the News Room Board last evening:

EASTPORT, April 18.
Large English gun ship just passed up to St. Andrews
Killian and Sinnot went to Calais this morning.
About 100 Fenians left here to-day: supposed to have gone to Calais.
