Stories
Whether they are stories reported in print media, those learned at the knee of an elder, or reminiscences of travels made and times experienced, they all play an important part in defining just what it means to be Irish.
They help to shape our belief system, our attitudes, and our values. They define our identities which, in turn, determine how we interact with those around us. And sometimes, whether based on fact or fiction, they create for us a new reality which helps determine our course in the future.
