Christopher Harper, came from Yorkshire, England to NB in 1774 and first settled at Fort Cumberland then, later in Sackville, Westmorland County.

He had three sons and four daughters. Mentioned were:
1) Christopher Harper Jr.
2) John Harper m. Miss Thornton d/o Titus Thornton: settled in Dorchester, NB
3) William Harper m. Phoebe Haliday of Cobequid, NS and settled at Sackville

daughters:
1) Charlotte Harper m. Bedford Boultenhouse
2) Fanny Harper m. Thomas King
3) Annie Harper m. Richard Wilson of Northern Ireland
4) Catherine Harper m. Gideon Palmer.
