Unsuccessfully contested Charlotte Co., for the House of Assembly, at the G.E. of 1846.  First elected to the House of Assembly, as one of the members for Charlotte Co., at the G.E. of 1850, and sat until the dissolution of Parliament in 1854, when he retired, temporarily, from local politics.  At the G.E. of 1861, he was again a candidate, but without success.

He died, April 3rd, 1864, at his residence, St. Andrews, N.B., aged 59 years.  Buried in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Andrews, N.B.  Survived by_____________________.
