Ezekiel Taylor came from Buncrana, near Londonderry, Ireland to NB about 1852. He settled in Moncton, Westmorland County and married Roslin Beattie, daughter of James Beattie and had issue. Mentioned was son Frederick William Taylor.

John M. Taylor, born in 1837 in Buncranna, Loch Swilly, County Donegal, Ireland, was the son of Samuel and Esther (Wilson) Taylor. He came to NB, settled in Saint John, and married (1st) Elizabeth Crosby, daughter of H.B. and Elizabeth (Buckson) Crosby of Albion, ME. They had two children who died in infancy.
He married (2nd) Alice M. Crosby, sister of above.
